City Tour of Monitoring Survey for accepting Highly Skilled International Professionals〜Autumn 2025〜／高度外国人材受入モニター調査市内視察ツアー 〜2025秋〜
Semboku City has been engaged in the “Project for Promotion of accepting Highly Skilled Foreign Professionals”, funded by The Vision for Digital Garden City Nation (Local development promotion type) with the aim of revitalizing the local economy by supporting foreign engineers, foreign students and other highly skilled foreign professionals and providing them with opportunities for activity and growth. As part of this project, a monitoring tour of the city was conducted from 3 (Fri) to 5 (Sun) October 2025, and 10 international students etc. visited Semboku City. Please see details of the tour provided below.
【Day 1 Friday 3 October 2025／第１日目 2025年10月3日（金）】
１）Orientation ・Company Introduction(City Hall, Kakunodate building)／オリエンテーション・企業紹介（市役所角館庁舎）
During City Tour orientation, after an overview of the tour, the international students participating in the tour introduced themselves. Afterwards, Mr. Muto from KBH Japan Co., Ltd. gave an introduction to the company and the international school that is scheduled to open in Semboku City in August next year.
視察ツアーのオリエンテーションでは、ツアー概要を説明したあと、ツアー参加者の留学生より自己紹介を行いました。その後、KBHジャパン株式会社の武藤さんより、同社と来年８月に市内に開校予定のインターナショナルスクールの紹介を行いました。
２）Company visit (Inspec Inc.)／会社訪問（インスペック株式会社）
The international students visited Inspec Inc., a semiconductor inspection equipment manufacturer with operations overseas. After listening to an explanation of the company's business outline and history from President Sugawara, the students were given a tour of the factory by President Sugawara. The students asked questions such as which countries the company plans to expand into in the future and what types of jobs are available.
海外に事業を展開する半導体検査装置メーカーのインスペック株式会社を訪問しました。菅原社長からの事業概要や沿革等の説明を聞いた後、菅原社長の案内で工場見学をしました。留学生からは、今後展開予定の国やどのような職種があるのか等の質問がありました。
３）Company visit（Takigami Kogyo Co., Ltd.）／会社訪問（株式会社瀧神巧業）
International Students visited Takigami Kogyo Co., Ltd., a company that is involved in steel structures, construction, and recently drones. Ms. Sasaki, the company's recruiter, gave us an overview of the company and its open entrepreneurial culture. Afterwards, we moved to visit a factory that manufactures floodgate equipment.
鐵構事業や建設事業、最近はドローン事業も展開する株式会社瀧神巧業を訪問しました。採用担当の佐々木さんから会社概要や風通しの良い起業風土をご紹介いただきました。その後、場所を移動して、水門設備を製造する工場を見学しました。 
４）Tour of Samurai Residence (Ishiguro-ke Samurai Residence)／武家屋敷見学（武家屋敷「石黒家」）
In order to let the international students know the attractions of Semboku City as a tourist destination with its traditional streets and culture, they visited Ishiguro-ke, Samurai Residence in Samurai Residences, which is selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings by the Japanese Government. The owner of the residence, Mr Ishiguro, guided the students around the residence, and they actively asked questions.
伝統的な街並みと文化がある観光地としての仙北市の魅力を知ってもらうため、国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定されている武家屋敷通りにある武家屋敷「石黒家」を見学しました。当主の石黒さんの案内で館内を見て回り、留学生の皆さんは積極的に質問をされていました。
５）Museum Visit（Kabazaiku Woodcraft Museum）／樺細工伝承館見学（角館樺細工伝承館）
To learn about Kabazaiku, a traditional cherry bark craft of Semboku City, the international students visited Kabazaiku Woodcraft Museum. The students viewed exhibits that showed the techniques and history of the cherry bark craft.
仙北市の伝統工芸品である樺細工を知ってもらうため、角館樺細工伝承館を見学しました。留学生の皆さんは樺細工の技巧や歴史が分かる展示を見学されていました。
６）Living experience （Farmer's Guesthouses）／生活体験（農家民宿）
The international students were divided into three groups to stay at Farmer's Guesthouses, which are one of the attractions of Semboku City: Farmer's Guesthouses Kamado, Teruko and Haruyama. They were very satisfied with the experience of living in Farmer's Guesthouses.
仙北市の魅力の一つである農家民宿等を知ってもらうため、留学生の皆さんは、農家民宿 かまど、農家民宿輝湖、民宿はるやまの３つの宿に分かれて泊まりました。農家民宿の生活体験や宿主の温かいおもてなしに大変満足していました。
【Day 2 Saturday 4 October 2025／第２日目 2025年10月4日（土）】
７）Company visit（Ando Jyozo Co., Ltd.）／会社訪問（株式会社安藤醸造）
The students visited Ando Jyozo Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1853 and has a long history of brewing miso and soy sauce. After touring the storehouse and soy sauce preparation storehouse, they exchanged opinions with Ando Yusuke, Managing Directo and the international students asked various questions, including about overseas expansion.
創業嘉永六年の伝統があり、味噌醤油の醸造等を営む株式会社安藤醸造を訪れました。蔵座敷や醤油仕込蔵土蔵を見学した後、安藤雄介専務と意見交換が行われ、留学生からは製造方法や海外展開などの様々な質問が出ました。
８）Company visit（Magoroku Onsen Rokuan）／会社訪問（孫六温泉 六庵）
The international students were shown around by Ms. Toyoshima from Magoroku Onsen Rokuan, one of the seven inns in the popular hot spring resort area of Nyuto Onsenkyo, which was rebranded and reopened in the spring of 2025. The students asked questions about the type of International talent they are looking for and the type of guests that visits the inn.
人気温泉地の乳頭温泉郷の７つの宿の１つで、2025年春にリブランドオープンした孫六温泉 六庵を豊島さんの案内で見学しました。留学生からは、求める外国人材や宿を訪れる客層などの質問が出ました。
９）Company Introduction（Glocal Promotion Co., Ltd.）／会社紹介（グローカルプロモーション株式会社）
Ms. Sato of Glocal Promotion Co., Ltd., which uses its long-accumulated know-how in hotel and inn management to provide consulting services such as customer attraction support for hotels and inns across the country, gave a company introduction in the beech forest of Nyuto Onsenkyo. The international students asked questions such as what the job entails and what skills are required.
長年蓄積した旅館・ホテル経営ノウハウを活かし、全国の旅館・ホテルの集客支援等のコンサル業務を行うグローカルプロモーション株式会社の佐藤さんより、乳頭温泉郷のブナ林等で会社紹介をして頂きました。留学生からは、業務内容や求めるスキルは何か等の質問が出ていました。
10）Outdoor Activities（Lake Tazawa）／アクティビティ（田沢湖）
To help the international students learn about the charms of Senboku City as a tourist destination rich in nature, they tried SUP(Stand Up Paddleboard) as an activity at Lake Tazawa.
自然豊かな観光地としての仙北市の魅力を知ってもらうため、田沢湖のアクティビティとしてSUP（スタンドアップパドルボード）の体験をしました。
【Day 3, Sunday 5 October 2025／第３日目 2025年10月5日（日）】
11）Joint Job Matching Event（City Hall, Kakunodate building）／合同企業マッチング会（市役所角館庁舎）
International students participated in Joint Job Matching Event, where 6 companies in Semboku City exhibited. After presentations by each company, the students were divided into booths for individual consultations. Discussions were made to find a good internship match.
前日までの企業訪問などで訪れた企業を含む市内企業等６社が出展する合同企業マッチング会に参加しました。出展した各企業からのプレゼンテーションが行われた後、各企業のブースに分かれて、個別相談会を行いました。インターンシップの実施に繋がるように、お互いにじっくりとお話を伺いました。
12）Review of the tour（Shokusai Maizakura）／ランチ懇親会（食彩舞桜）
The tour concluded with a lunch social gathering at Shokusai Maizakura, attended by the deputy mayor. Representatives from the companies participating in the Joint Job Matching Event also participated, and there was a frank exchange of opinions about the attractions and lifestyle of Semboku City.
ツアーの締め括りは、食彩舞桜にて、副市長が参加のランチ懇親会を行いました。合同企業マッチング会の出展企業の方々も参加して、仙北市の魅力や暮らし等をざっくばらんに意見交換しました。
